As you’ll see on the about page, I purchased apple2peach.com quite some time ago. My wife and I moved from the New York City area down to the Atlanta area back in the Summer of 2007. We bought a house in the suburbs and became full-time Atlantans.

In our first year and a half here, we’ve learned a lot about the Atlanta area — great restaurants, fun things to do around town, weekend getaway options, etc. — and I just figured it’d make sense for us to share this knowledge. As a former New Yorker having made this move, I felt that there should be a place for transplants from all corners of the US (and the world) to see what others have gone through.

Is this blog going to be maintained solely by me? Maybe. If there is enough external interest, I’d be open to posting content from just about anybody. So, let’s see where this little endeavor ends up, shall we?
